(Oklahoma City) August 20, 2011 around 6:30pm an OCSO deputy driving westbound on SW 29th Street near S. Pennsylvania Avenue was struck head on by a man driving eastbound in the westbound lane. The deputy received some minor inuries to his leg and his K-9 partner was checked by an emergency veterinary clinic as a precaution. On August 21, 2011 OHP Troopers arrested and booked Francisco Noriega-Perales (dob 12/24/1989) for causing the crash. Noriega-Perales was arrested on complaints of: *Driving under the influence *Driving left side of road/no passing *No seat belt All parties involved in the crash have been medically cleared and will be okay, including K-9 Deputy “Boze”.
